Bow on our arrival - the un-American idols

from Kanye West (Ft. Big Sean & Jay Z) – Clique Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are a POWERFUL couple. You should be appreciative to be in their presence. They’re looked up to by millions of children, but have both been involved in controversies. Kim Kardashian with her infamous sextape with R&B singer Ray J, and her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries. And who can ever forget about Kanye’s VMA incident, that turned him into public enemy number one. They are both regarded as idols to many in America, but do not have the same background or goody-two-shoes reputation that the stereotypical American idol is based upon (though Kanye was recently asked to host the show). Aside from that, this may be one of the best snippets of all time.

This could also be a reference to Kanye’s lines on the remix of POWER:

“Now we all ain’t gon’ be American Idols
But you can least grab a camera, shoot a viral”

In connection to his previous line, his girl Kim became famous from a viral home video. Hence, the pair make “the unamerican idols.”

Also a reference to Common’s “South Side”.
