The end is near
The only problem is he says he wants to leave a legacy, but if the world is really ending, who will there be to remember the legacy? So ipso-facto, the legacy is just as meaningless as the polls. Kendrick believes that in a world that will soon be coming to an end, people should focus on bigger issues than the presidential election.
Kendrick could also be referring to revelations which speaks about the return of Christ, since his previous line alluded to God. God probably cares little about who becomes the next president of the United States in a world that the devil (according to Kendrick) controls.
