Some say tragedy's hard to get over
But sometimes that tragedy means it's over
1,836 people were killed in the Katrina tragedy and a controversy of neglecting the African-American populace in New Orleans stirred much hatred for the American Gov’t and George Bush. He is also saying that it is going to be very difficult for the Katrina victims to recover. However, in some cases you can’t get over the disaster, and you just have to move on.
This line also refers to the countless victims who couldn’t get over this tragedy, either because they died or their houses were irreparably damaged. Everyone wants to overcome tragedy, but sometimes it is just too much to conquer.
