In this art of war, my pen stroke is Picasso
Niggas get the picture I ain't got to paint the nostrils
“The Art of War” is a widely known and highly influential Chinese military treatise written by Sun Tzu. It was also the title of a Wesley Snipes movie. In this case, the war Pusha is talking about is the rap game.
Picasso was known for surreal artwork, which meant certain details could be skewed or left out in the process of painting.
The picture Pusha T is talking about is his music and life. Painting the nostrils is a metaphor for selling people coke, since it’s often taken through the nose. He’s saying he doesn’t have to sell drugs with the position he’s in now.
It is also a pun, saying in this “ART” of war, Push is Picasso (Original, the best) also probably alluding to the use of the phrase the pen is mightier than the sword.
