So I can't shed blood on any battlefield of yours

from Lupe Fiasco (Ft. Casey Benjamin) – Strange Fruition Lyrics on Rap Genius

This line plays off of the previous one. Through designated public housing sections, the government has separated ‘the hood’ from everyone else ‘working off in the trunk’ (using a play off of the word hood for a car metaphor, the trunk is the furthest part from the hood). By separating the hood from everyone else, the crime, murders, and bloodshed do not spread out into other communities (or battlefields)

In addition, this line also references rap’s historically antagonistic attitude towards military service
