And I wasn’t much into the type, that my bros like
So I never really had no wife and that's alright
This line can be taken two ways, with the real interpretation being up to the man himself:
1) We get more insight towards his attractions. The inference here is that his past love(s) were not women. As his boys were out and about chasing women and getting girlfriends, he was in love with a man. Although he was different from his friends, he seems to be comfortable with his decision.
2) From the post Frank made about being bisexual it seemed he’s had many more female lovers, and the extent of his homosexuality was with one love affair. This line may just be taken literally; he’s not into the type of girls that his friends chased.
