‘flipping a colosseum’ is one of GZA’s rhymes from pre-36 Chambers days. He said on his first album on a song called ‘Words From A Genius’– ‘I never sweat an emcee who says I wanna be 'em cos he makes a hit record and flips a Colosseum’. It seems GZA is making another reference to his battling days here as a young MC through a metaphor about a ruler in ancient times whose picture was seen in schools and colosseums. The reference to school may be about his lyrics educating people. As we all know, he is the body dropper, the heart beat stopper………
