You too busy fucking with your other man
I was tryna put you on game, put you on a plane
Take you and your momma to the motherland, I could do it

from Kendrick Lamar (Ft. Drake) – Poetic Justice Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Drake says, “Young East African girl” in the previous line, but if he is still evoking Nebby, then his geography might be a bit off. Nebby (and her mother) are from Casablanca, Morocco.

Drake has been known to express his interest in Ethiopian women, as is seen in the song “Where To Now”. The clique “XO” merged with OVO, and most of them were from Ethiopia, so this could explain where the attraction was fostered.

Considering the connotations Ethiopia/Abyssinia has as being the African “mother land”, referred to wistfully as such in songs like Bunny Wailer’s “Dream Land” and the Abyssinians' “Forward Unto Zion”, it is most likely that Drake is addressing an Ethiopian girl in this particular verse.

This is also a decent example of the smooth lover man image Drake enjoys projecting. He’s not only out to charm the girl in question but her mother as well.
