Both Tupac and Niccolo Machiavelli are notorious for supposedly faking their deaths. Tupac changed his name to Makaveli which can be arranged to spell “I am alive”. Tupac read many books about Machiavelli in prison, perhaps leading to inspiration and later the faking of his death.
