CG uses a pun on the word “appeal” to mean both allure and “a peel” as in a banana, or in this case, Orange rind. He then juxtaposes another connection between colors by referencing Green as both weed and money.
By mentioning weed, CG also makes an “appeal” to those familiar with small “mass” units (grams, 28 grams = 1 Oz, etc.), which are the same people that smoke weed.
While you lethargically smoke weed, CG is buying the latest fashions.
This line also references the fact that people store their weed with orange peels to keep it moist.
