Fuck the World Lyrics

[Intro: Violent J]
Fuck, fuck this shit
Fuck, give it to me!

[Chorus: Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, together]
If I only could I'd set the world on fire (Ah, fuck)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
If I only could I'd set the world on fire

Say fuck the world! (Fuck the world!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Fuck 'em all! (Fuck 'em all!)

[Verse 1: Violent J]
Hey, man, fuck you, fuck me, fuck us
Fuck Tom, fuck Mary, fuck Gus, fuck Darius
Fuck the west coast, and fuck everybody on the east
Eat shit and die, or fuck off at least
Fuck pre-schoolers, fuck rulers
Kings and Queens and gold jewelers
, fuck wine coolers
Fuck chickens, fuck ducks
Everybody in your crew sucks, punk mother fucks
Fuck critics, fuck your review
Even if you like me, fuck you
Fuck your mom, fuck your mom's momma
Fuck the Beastie Boys and the Dalai Lama
Fuck the rain forest, fuck a Forrest Gump
You probably like it in the rump, fuck a shoe pump
Fuck the real deal and fuck all the fakes
Fuck all fifty two states! Ooh, and fuck you
[Chorus: Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, together]
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Say fuck the world! (Fuck the world!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Fuck 'em all! (Fuck 'em all!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Say fuck the world! (Fuck the world!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Fuck 'em all! (Fuck 'em all!)

[Verse 2: Violent J & Jumpsteady]
Yeah, fuck Oprah, fuck opera, fuck a soap opera
Fuck a pop locker and a cock blocker
Fuck your girlfriend, I probably did already
Fuck Kyle and his brother Tom Petty
Jumpsteady, my homie, fuck him, what are you gonna do?
(Fuck that bitch, fuck you!) Yeah well fuck you too

Don't bother trying to analyze these rhymes
In this song I say fuck ninety three times
Fuck the president, fuck your welfare
Fuck your government, and fuck Fred Bear
Fuck Nugent, like anybody gives a fuck
You like to hunt a lot, so fucking what?

Fuck disco, Count of Monte Cristo
Fuck Cisco, and Jack and Jerry Brisco
And fuck everyone who went down with the Titanic, in a panic
I'm like fuck you all!
[Chorus: Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, together]
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Say fuck the world! (Fuck the world!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Fuck 'em all! (Fuck 'em all!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Say fuck the world! (Fuck the world!)
If I only could I'd set the world on fire
Fuck 'em all! (Fuck 'em all!)

[Verse 3: Violent J]
Fuck Celine Dion and fuck Dionne Warwick
You both make me sick, suck my dick
Fuck the Berlin Wall, both sides of it
And fuck Lyle Lovett, whoever the fuck that is
Fuck everybody in the hemisphere
Fuck them across the world, and fuck them right here
You know the guy that operates the Rouge River draw bridge in Delray on Jefferson?
Fuck him!

Fuck your idea, fuck your gonorrhea
Fuck your diarrhea, Rocky Maivia
Fuck your wife, your homie did, he's fucking you
Fuck the police and the 5-0 too
Fuck Spin, Rolling Stone, and fuck Vibe
Fuck everybody inside
Whoever's on the cover, fuck his mother

Fuck your little brother's homie from around the way
And fuck Violent J! *Gunshot*

What did Insane Clown Posse say about "Fuck the World"?
Genius Answer

In a 2011 interview with A.V. Club, Violent J said:

After The Great Milenko came out, it went platinum. It was a huge deal for us, and this was the follow up. After the whole thing with Disney happened, we used to have a stack of papers, faxes of reviews that local newspapers all around the country, all around the world, reviewed the album after all the hype of, “Who are these guys that Disney dumped? Who are these guys who got thrown off Hollywood Records, and now there’s a bidding war, and now they’re going to sign for Island Records for over a million dollars?” And everybody reviewed the album, and we used to have a stack of papers a foot tall, a foot tall, on our manager’s desk, and every single review was just tearing us apart. Nobody got it. I’m talking, you wouldn’t believe, page after page after page after page after page. We couldn’t find even one positive review. They were just saying this was the horriblest, worst shit they ever heard, like, “How did Hollywood even think about signing them?” It was page after page after page, it was stunning. And that’s what inspired “Fuck The World,” you know what I’m saying? [Laughs.]

What comes to mind is, “Even if the critics like me / Fuck you / Even if you like me / Fuck you,” like, fuck everybody, fuck the world. Here we are doing what we do, like, fuck the outside world. […] The way Shaggy described it one interview, he said, “Let’s say you’re young, and you’re about to get some skin at a chick’s house, but her mom comes home. Fuck her mom!” You know, it’s not really, “Fuck her mom! Let’s go beat her up!” It’s like, “Fuck her for coming home when you’re about to get some pussy!” […] It was just fucking aggression was the idea, though. Saying, “Fuck everything,” that’s why it was just shit that was rhyming with other shit. Aggression was the picture we were painting there.

During a 2021 Patreon-exclusive livestream titled “Welcome to the Jam Exam,” Insane Clown Posse discussed releasing this track as the first single from The Amazing Jeckel Brothers:

Shaggy: Our first song we released off [The Amazing Jeckel Brothers], for our single, was “Fuck the World.” You know what I’m saying? That’s how we felt about it. We were like, “Yo, we’re not gonna get on the radio anyhow, so we’re gonna put our first shit as a joke, "Fuck the World.”
Violent J: And we sent it to all the stations. […] When you hear all the cuss words flipped backwards, it’s not even a song. It just sounds like insanity, and that’s what we sent out, and there were actually stations that played it. There were stations that played it, probably as a joke, but you know. […] We were like “Yeah, this is our new single. Everybody was wondering if we were gonna sell out. Here’s our new single.”
