Cause I find myself in the place where I'm last seen
Very eloquent/deep double entendre, going off the previous line Ghostface explains why his real dreams will never come true:
- The first interpretation is simply that time after time again he finds himself staying in the same place (likely the Shaolin, ie: Staten Island). Getting out of the ghetto, while in the drug game or in a gang, is nearly impossible so Ghostface is expressing his frustration at his stand-still.
- The alternative is that “place where I’m last seen” refers to the way news reporters talk about missing/dead people (“Ghostface was last seen … before his body washed on shore”). The reason he cannot fulfill his dreams is because he continuously finds himself in dangerous situations and will most likely die before he can reach them.
