And coulda retired at 29
Infinite was first released in May of ‘95 when Eminem was 22.
Eminem says he came in the rap game at 25 because it is when he put out “The Slim Shady EP” and linked up with Dr. Dre after the 1997 Rap Olympics. He put out “The Slim Shady LP” in Feb. 1999 around age 26. Then he put out “The Marshall Mathers LP” in May 2000 at age 27. That record went on to go Diamond in the U.S. alone and went on to sell over 20 million worldwide. He easily could have quit rapping and lived off the money he had already made at 29 and never even put out “The Eminem Show” in May 2002 at the age of 29.
So Thank You Marshall for not quitting and depriving us of 11 years of amazing music. The world would have missed some of his greatest tracks.
