There are layers of meanings packed into these last four lines…
“Make me see” refers to “preacher got my eyes low.” So, the real preacher (in actual church) doesn’t have his attention; at the same damn time, he mentions that his eyes are low from smoking weed. Finally, since the MJ makes him see, it has his attention, and it figuratively opens his mind’s eye.

“Singing high notes” refers to “the choir,” which he says is “like [his] reefer. Get it?? HIGH notes.
