This metaphor is a double entendre (don’t even ask Jigga how): rather than let the hatin'-ass bitches hold them back (i.e., waste time sitting in the driveway), Lupe will make sure that his sisters are always moving forward in life, and he uses the highway as a metaphor for advancement. This is also a reference to the lyric in the second verse in which he says he’s not interested in rehashing the past and is only moving forward.
