Hey realtor, I'm lookin' for a nice park
Twelve noon, she said my family gon' make it too dark
Racial discrimination by neighborhood is one of the more easily recognizable remaining traces of racism and prejudice. Kanye says he tells his realtor he wants to live in a nice neighborhood, but his realtor tells him not to move into a specific all-white neighborhood because he would make it too dark. So one black family makes the entire neighborhood uninhabitable for all the whites in it.
Twelve noon would be when the sun is highest and the day the brightest, so night isn’t the cause of the darkness.
