So this one is a touch more subtle than I even remember. Obviously this suggests that I may not be a man of religious belief (or at least find the “jury to be out” on it), but I won’t dictate what you should believe, nor will I accept your canon as superior to my outlook just based on an unsubstantiated scripture. There’s also, though, the lil' double entendre with “wives' tales” because that was meant to refer to “old wives' tales” an expression that means myth or legend, but also fucking stupid reality tv like Real Housewives of Krypton or whatever’s poppin now.
