My nine, but that's my mind, you can't touch it
That's a crime, how can I restrain silence
Up to this point in the verse, Joey’s told us his bars and the microphone are his weapon of choice.
Use the mic as my weapon, Reload my mind
Fire my thoughts and then I recoil these lines
He continues with that same extended metaphor insinuating his mind is like a 9mm handgun.
He feels as though it’s a crime how he can “hold” silence with his words. This plays on the fact guns are commonly used in crimes and killings — because he’s literally killing these verses. People hear his lines are in awe of his lyrical prowess — hence silencing them.
