I see it, I want it, I bought it
A play on Julius Caesar’s famous quote “Veni, Vedi, Vici” translated “I came, I saw, I conquered”. Chief is the Julius Caesar of his generation in terms of being a baller. He has so much money now that, much like Julius Caesar, everywhere he goes he is able to conquer it (buy it).
This is a very clever homage to one of the greatest rulers in world history cleverly disguised as a description of a shopping trip (not unlike the conquest of a country or a collection of tribute, things Caesar did quite frequently). Much like Caesar, Chief Keef is often known to sing his own praises upon great accomplishments and the way that Caesar recorded them in war journals, Keef records his accomplishments in his songs and on social media websites.
