It doesn’t make a difference if he tints his windows, since he’s about to drive his car into the ocean. This indifference to life seems reflective of depression, which is a theme in this song. He’s also saying that whether he has tints or not, he won’t be able to hide from the world.
Also, he might feel invisible…like a ghost (see next line).
The car could also be a metaphor for his life, meaning that no matter he tries to shield and protect his experiences and secrets, someone will find out eventually.
