With an iceman's chance in Dante's dreamland to stand where the fans lamp
This is an indirect way of saying that there is practically zero hope for the human society to improve; an iceman hates heat and he would have a reeeaaaaally hard time finding fans to cool himself in “Dante’s dreamland” (Dante’s Inferno; Hell).
His chance of succeeding in doing so is in reality non-existent, as is the chance for the human society to get better. Basically this line is a simple restatement of the pessimistic view of humanity’s future expressed in the two previous ones.
