I got ice in my veins, blood in my eyes
“Ice” is a slang term for very pure methamphetamines aka “speed”, so Weezy is feeling cranked up
By “blood in my eyes”, he means:
– His eyes are bloodshot (because he’s high on meth/weed)
– He reps the Bloods gang
– He’s enraged; seeing red
Double entendre: he has ice in his veins and blood in his eyes. But “eyes” sounds like “ice”. That means he’s got ice in his veins and blood in “his ice”, which means that his blood is frozen.
This line can also be interpreted in the purely metaphorical sense in which the “ice in his veins” is a figurative expression of the fact that he is cold-blooded or emotionless and perhaps angry at the world.
