Cardinal Mahoney, you are in essence a predator yourself as you enabled your subordinates to molest multiple children in the church over many decades. May you die a long and slow painful death.

Roger Mahoney is a Cardinal for the Catholic Church. Mr Dorner highlights the cardinal’s involvement in a series of sexual abuse cases affecting over 500 people. He used cemetery maintenance money to pay the fee.

The evidence that Maloney knew began to pile up. A documentary called Deliver Us from Evil suggested that Maloney knew of the abuses before they were brought to court and that he had actively tried to cover them up.

The NY Times also joined in the calls against the Cardinal. In this article they state that

For years, the cardinal withheld seamy church records from parents, victims and the public, brandishing endless litigation and fatuous claims of confidentiality.

Maloney has not been jailed or faced prosecution for his actions (or inaction.) He has merely been relived of duties and the case is unlikely to go further.
