Cus when you add am you just attach you
To say “I”, or to be in the first person, is to attach yourself, and everything that self is.
“Am” being a deceleration of “being”.
Though in the Old Testament God made His name known as I AM, for a man to say “I am” is not the same IMO, that “am” comes with mans flaws.
It’s reflecting on the first part of the verse, where the writer was speaking in 3rd person to hide the truth.
The fear of attaching the self to anything, because the self is not yet whole.
