The one you couldn’t save now how is that true
No one stood in the way of having that fruit
Is there nothing we can do about death, the bad in men, the one foot in the grave?
Is this an immovable reality.
Is it our fault, my fault- can I be whole, can I be good.
Did we have a choice? Do we still?
Is the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil to blame- well, that and our appetite?
Did anyone stand in the way to save us from it all?
These are the questions I ask myself by the end of the verse, stressing myself out.
