Was I wrong to be so heavy-hearted?

from Big KRIT – R.E.M. Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Krit could be referring to his response to fact that some people thought Live From the Underground was a disappointment compared to his previous mixtapes. He was saddened to hear that other people felt that way, because he puts everything in his music.

He could also be referring to how some of his songs on LFTU were very emotional or “heavy-hearted” (“Don’t Let Me Down,” “If I Fall,” “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”) and it seemed to draw people away.
