Can I Get A (Bom Bom) Lyrics

[Verse 2]
Rich in wisdom. Born broke and proud
Quietest nigga in the room but I'm smoking loud
Very opinionated, but I like to debate
And keep the truth above all, I ain't fucking with fakes
Used to see these sluts as nothing but some open mouths
It's good for the community if they're sucking the town
More blowjobs, less crime, no problems
In the streets there's no God, everybody's fraudulent
The outlook I prophecised like apostles did
So I relax and burn a sack till apocalypse
They tell me "Rich, you should fit in your 'nitch'"
I'm like "Nigga, the term's 'NICHE'" You should learn some english

I'm representing for the people seeking out true knowledge
Don't trust in the system, we don't do college
Yeah, I move green but I don't do collards
My team mean but offer no apoli.....JEEZ!

[Hook]

[Bridge]
My women, where you at? Don't be scared to bust your invisible gat (BOM BOM)
My brothers, where you be? Two fingers to the sky , repeat after me. (BOM BOM)
Can I get a... x4

[Hook]

Genius Annotation

Toronto flag-waver Rich Kidd is well-known for his interactive, hype-as-hell live shows. So when he began recording tracks for his upcoming In My Opinion mixtape, he wanted at least one tune to reflect how he engages an audience. “Whenever I perform, I always ask the crowd to give me a “Bom Bom” with a gun finger in the air,” he tells Hive. “Then I figured: why not turn my crowd chants into a song?” The self-produced “Can I Get a [Bom Bom]” isn’t as urgent as you might expect, though that allows it to live in two distinctive worlds. On the record, it’s a laid-back, albeit bass-y, burner full of shit-talking. And in concert? Well, you can bet that Kidd gets a massive response with that hook.

In My Opinion is due out April 16.
