He’s going to get the girl because he has “bread” (money), which wins him “hand” in their relationship… also something about Jesus offering bread at the last supper, and the fact that breadcuffer makes no sense even in this context (in he doesn’t have to cuff her hands, because she’s tied to his “bread”)… maybe he gets the money so easily he doesn’t have to try? Who knows. This is the second line of this verse that makes no sense upon explication.
