Read... read... read
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.
― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
Additionally, the word, “read” being repeated 3 times on its own may also be interpreted as a way of relating back to the beginning of this song:
In Islam, through Sahih Buhari (1:1:3) and various ayat in the Qur'an, it is believed that Muhammed’s prophecy begins when the angel Jibreel comes to him in a cave called Hira, located on the mountain called Jabal an-Nour, 3 miles north of Mecca; Prophet Muhammad went there alone to contemplate and reflect.
Angel Gabriel (also known as Jibreel; جبريل) appeared before him and asked him to “read” three times. Muhammed replied that he wasn’t able to read, as he was illiterate. On the third try, he miraculous started to read the first 5 verses (ayat) from Surat al-Alaq:
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-
Taught man that which he knew not.
