Damian is asking whether people can do the basic things everyone used to be able to do. Most of us depend on technologies like the automobile without having any understanding of how the resources to run them are obtained or how they actually work. More than that we are dependent on a supply chain for the food we eat and most of us wouldn’t have a clue how to obtain the food necessary to survive without it. c.f.
