Im saying, you like "Oh my god, get that gun out of my face"
Its not in your face its in my hand
Royce is illustrating the fallacy of a potential gun victim asking their assailant to get the gun out of their face, when the actual gun is not technically in their face, but rather in the hand of a person considering the repercussions of murdering you.
This line is from the movie, Sherlock Holmes. In one scene, Sherlock puts his gun in Watson’s face. Watson responds by telling him to get that gun out of his face, Sherlock notes that the gun isn’t in his face, it’s in his hand. Har, har.
