And I'm sorry Miss Rosie Perez
I call a spade a spade, it just is what it is
But you can't give cred to anything dude says
Same dude to give you ice and you owe him some head

Meaning

Actress Rosie Perez said in XXL magazine that she didn’t appreciate Jay’s frequent use of the word ‘bitch’ and applauded Nas' support of women of color.

Jay offers a half-apology for the language, but basically says that he calls it as he sees it (the NWA defence). He goes on to question her allegiance to Nas, pointing out what he feels is Nas' hypocrisy on the subject.

Nas received acclaim for his song “Black Girl Lost” which spoke up for women of color and warned against using their bodies for material gain. But in “You Owe Me” he suggested women trade sexual favors for ‘ice’ (jewelry).

Shorty, say what’s your price
Just to back it up, you can hold my ice
Now let’s say you owe me something

This could also tie in with Rosie Perez’s sex scene from Do The Right Thing in which Spike Lee traces an ice cube over her body.
