I said, "Shit I'm chillin'
Tryna stack these millions"

from Kanye West – I Am a God Lyrics on Rap Genius

As per usual, Kanye’s braggadocio is never so simple: This short verse is a pithy reference to the Biblical parable of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11.

Kanye is throwing down the symbolism and allegory in layers. In the parable, all the people of the earth have one common language, and they set about to build (“stack”) a tower to the heavens. It follows that “stack these millions” refers to money being the universal language (a sentiment familiar to his G.O.O.D. Music signee Pusha T). This gives context to his use of both Spanish and Italian later on.

We all know that Kanye is getting paper.
