The concept is so absurd
Like a church in debt, a turtle in a turtle neck
Convertibles with turbo jets, fueled by 7-Up and prometh
These lines demonstrate use of absurdities, which is gradually becoming a popular trend in Hip-Hop.
How often will a church be in debt, considering it’s constantly funded by its members? Also, he pronounces ‘debt’ like ‘death’. This is quite ironic considering that a church is supposed to lead its members to eternal life.
A turtle in a turtleneck? Not even Google could find this.
A convertible with a turbo jet? Absolutely absurd. No one has one of those, except Inspector Gadget. It’s essentially impossible to the majority of us to own such a car, much less run it on 7-Up and Promethazine (a.k.a. “Purp” and oftentimes associated with Lil Wayne and the death of Pimp C).
