And you blow, I'm still the man to watch
Hublot on my left hand or not
“WATCH” THE THRONE
Jay-Z is the one you should pay attention to, regardless of whether he is wearing an expensive Swiss timepiece or not.
After seeing Jay-Z wearing a Hublot, the CEO of the company invited him to Geneva to tour the factory in 2009. Hova later rocked a Hublot in the “Otis” video pictured above.
As soon as the video aired, Hublot was flooded with more orders than they could immediately fill. Although the terms of the agreement between Hova and Hublot have not been released (which is owned by luxury goods giant Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy) they are believed to be in seven figures.
He is also saying that other rappers “blow up” and get famous, people are still checking for Jigga’s next move. Face it, he’s a trendsetter, with or without a watch.
There’s wordplay on the word “watch,” meaning “observe” and “timepiece.”
