Reeboks on, I just do it, nigga

from Jay Z (Ft. Rick Ross) – FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

“Just Do It” is the slogan of Reebok competitor, Nike. The fact that Ross is referencing Nike’s slogan could be ironic, or it could be a reference to the endorsement deal he once had with the company.

This verse was recorded earlier in 2013 (presumably in March, when he instagrammed his studio session with Hov) while Ross was still endorsed by Reebok. However, the song was released in July, a few months after he had been dropped from his Reebok endorsement for his now infamous molly raps.

Despite being dropped from Reebok, Ross maintains a good relationship with them. After this song dropped in late July, Ross reiterated his good relationship with Reebok, saying that he would “make an announcement when the time is right”. Ross' good relations with Reebok is perhaps why Ross left these lyrics unchanged. Rumors surfaced that Ross had resigned with Reebok after being pictured with their CEO.
