The “Kraken” — a mythical monster from the movie Clash of the Titans — was known to get it “crackin'”… usually by slamming its giant tentacles through wooden boat planks

It’s also a spoiler for Clash of the Titans. At the end of the film the Kraken is defeated by looking into the severed head of Medusa and it turns to stone and “cracks”.

As a second meaning, it is referring to cracking eggs, and it is a tie in to the last two lines which had to do with eggs as well.
