This and two-ply paper just ain't the same
I do do it for the bottom
Holy doo doo
There’s some clever shit going here.
Firstly, everyone would agree that when it comes to wiping your bottom, 2-ply toilet paper just ain’t the same as 3-ply.
Secondly, Lupe makes a homophone out of “do do”, as in “do it for the bottom” (while playing off the number 2 in the previous line) and also as in doo doo — as in what you’re using that 2 ply paper for.
Thirdly, Lu’s also playing on the word bottom — saying “I do it for the bottom” as in speaking on behalf of those less fortunate and also that 2 ply paper he’s using to keep his bottom clean.
