"Hey Thebe, nigga, what's up nigga? I heard you back, I need them raps, nigga. I need the verse, I don't care about what you going through or what you gotta do nigga, I need bars, sixteen of 'em."

from Earl Sweatshirt (Ft. Vince Staples) – Burgundy Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Here, Earl is impersonating rappers, who want verses from him and want them quick, completely disregarding his personal matters. The “Thebe” part may also reference the fact that people call Earl Thebe, even though they don’t know him very well.

He is also mocking Odd Future fans, who don’t really give a fuck about his personal life: they want songs as soon as possible. “I heard you back” means that as soon as Earl got back from Samoa, fans were clamoring to hear the new shit.

The tone is reminiscent of the character Bill Lumbergh in the movie Office Space (1999), portrayed by Gary Cole, the archetypal annoying motherfucker. “Um, yeah… Peter. I’m gonna need those TPS reports on my desk by Tuesday.”
