So what's a nigga 'sposed to do?
Tell 'em put the guns down or tell lil nigga shoot?
Cause they'll do the same to me, do the same shit to you
And all these niggas in my roof, that's why I got a bulletproof

from Meek Mill – Lil Nigga Snupe Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Meek realizes that he’s at a crossroads at being a mentor for Snupe. He realizes that every rapper has to come to a point of where he has to turn his back on the streets just to keep himself alive because you can’t live 2 lives. But he doesnt know what to say, but he can give him 2 ways of advice

1) Tell Snupe that he has to get out of the streets and put his energy to rap and hope he makes it big. He has to get out the trap and decide what he wants in life. The consequences of this is that he may be seen as hollywood and not a thug anymore because he will be focusing on living outside the trap.

2) He tells Snupe to get money any way he possibly can, trap, rap, or anything. But the consequences of this is that people have even more of a reason to kill you, because you’re in the streets. There is a large chance he could die if he stays there.

Meek told him repeatedly, to pick the first option of escaping the trap and focusing on his music and Snupe did for the most part. He went back to the hood as little as possible and tried to stay out the streets. And that little time he spent there was just enough for him to get killed It’s a cold world. RIP SNUPE.
