He catches a body, makes a name for himself and as he and his partners take heed to the new found status, while they forget that there may be repercussions to his actions. The consequences take place almost immediately. The victims family comes back for vengeance and the scene is articulated of a chase that ensues which ends in the murder of the “lil homie.” These few lyrics are highly dramatic as the characters go from accomplishment to grief and the listener is rapidly taken to a place of sorrow as we are forced to sympathize with the troubled youth.
