By saying “superhuman,” Frank is invincible and invulnerable, but this is also another way of saying that he feels nothing.

The lyric’s “did, didn’t” are more in line with the previous lyrics. Elements of what he got from what he started (previous line) are things he both did and didn’t desire. This juxtaposition emphasizes the irony in saying that even though he’s “superhuman” (a seemingly good quality) he is also invincible to feeling emotion.
