8. Objects In The Mirror
Macadelic was the project that we saw Mac use an obscene amount of metaphors for his life, and Objects In The Mirror is almost paying homage to the mixtape, as we see Mac use a girl as a metaphor for his addiction to drugs and music. This may be Miller’s most experimental song so far, as we see him play around with his singing and R&B type instrumentals.
Out of anything I’ve ever been addicted to, music is the craziest. It’s to the point that I’m so into this shit that everything else in my life disappears. Objects In The Mirror is a comment of addiction and that approach to different things in life, and then applying it to the situation with the female.
Mac named it his favourite song on the album.
