Here, Drake iterates how sometimes people can get ahead of themselves and say things without thinking it over,and not truly mean what they say.
Thinking twice before speaking is a necessity for many people in the industry.
This could also be a reference to Kendrick Lamar’s verse in “Compton.” Kendrick calls himself king twice. The second time he says that he “meant it”.
This line could be directed at a number of people who have called out or taken shots at Drake. (People initially thought that Pusha T’s version of “Dreams Money Can Buy” was dissing Drake. Drake initially discounted it and Pusha said it was not about him. After that Exodus came out.)
