Got a house full of homies, why I feel so the opposite?
This is actually the main premise behind his short film “Clapping For The Wrong Reasons”. You’ll notice in the film that although he’s staying at an amazing house surrounded by the people most closest to him (for example, his brother Steve G. Lover) and has easy access to some fine ladies, he still feels as though something is missing. From what is illustrated throughout the film, it is as if Donald is starting to go through the motions of having what many would consider a lavish lifestyle.
If anything, with addition to the recent Instagram notes he posted, he’s starting to experience a feeling of slight helplessness and lack of true identity. This plays in with the fact of why he likes doing so many things. He doesn’t want to be pinned down to one category because he himself doesn’t know who he is; he does what he does because he likes it not necessarily because he feels he has to.
Also a play on “homie”, as in his house doesn’t feel “homey” even though he has his friends and fam so close
