And hi ho, hand me my shovel,
The “hi ho,” along with the following “it’s off to H-E-double-hockey-sticks I go,” is a reference to the classic Disney song “Heigh-Ho,” which first appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The dwarfs sing the lyrics “Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to work we go” as they mine for diamonds and rubies, using mainly pickaxes.
Also a Word play with “Ho” for a woman and the garden tool “Hoe” to which he follows up with the actual “shovel” tool.
