I don't know who I am anymore
Is he CG?
This could also be a much more existential question beyond his rap-alias (CG) or himself (DG). There´s a theme running through the whole album: Childish is still searching for his identity. In an era when you can be WHOEVER you want on the internet, he asks himself:
“Who am I?”
This happens in the first line of the first track (I. crawl), as explained here. This question is not as simple as “how much Donald is there in Childish” or vice-versa; This is him really asking who he is because he really doesn´t know. But he´s trying to find out, because not knowing who you are, what your purpose is, makes you feel insecure, and it´s natural to want to escape that feeling.
Here, he talks about his insecurities, and earlier in the same interview he says he has lost a sense of purpose.
The concept of “Who am I?” goes deeper by featuring himself (Donald Glover) in the track’s name.
