Colin Powells, Austin Powers
Anyway, Kanye is probably referring to the incident in which he declared that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”; he famously made the declaration while standing next to Mike Myers, the actor behind Austin Powers.
Colin Powell was the first African-American to serve as Secretary of State and was appointed by George W. Bush, which perhaps questions his statement Bush doesn’t care about black people.
“Austin Powers” could also be a double entendre – Bush was governor of Texas before he was president, thus, he would be an Austin power.
Note he makes the plural mistake he makes with Prince William in “Niggas in Paris.” C'mon, Kanye: It’s Colin Powell, not Powells.
