[Verse 3: Kendrick Lamar]
Tech N9ne told HipHopDX that he already had MAYDAY and Kendall Morgan on the song but wanted to include someone else who he considered “elite”. He chose Kendrick, although he admitted to having doubts about Kendrick being able to speak on the subject of unfair critics, but the results were fantastic:
I felt like (Kendrick) could speak on (critics). I wasn’t sure if he could speak on that…but he spoke on it. People love him, and I didn’t know if he had critics that had said something bad. I wasn’t sure if he could speak on it, because people love him so much. But he spoke on it, and it was pretty raw. He held that second verse, and it’s like you ain’t mad at it at all."
