Continuing the fluid imagery, Bey is being washed over by the powerful sensations her climax is bringing. The “sins” may be her man’s imperfections that are beautiful to her because she is so deeply in love with him. There is a sexual undertone in this line that can be interpreted as a euphemism for his climax, in other words his ejaculation. Miguel, one of Rocket’s cowriters, uses similar imagery of ‘showering’ one’s love over their significant other in his Grammy Award-winning hit “Adorn”.
